I have been working with WordPress since 2019-2020, but I have not attended any WordCamps so far. WordCamps are community events focused on WordPress, which is free and open-source software for publishing. These are casual gatherings where you can learn more about WordPress, meet others in the industry, and even pick up some free goodies. I’ve now decided to attend as many WordCamps as possible.

I recently discovered that there is a WordCamp happening close to my city called WordCamp Kolhapur 2025. This will be the first WordCamp organized by the WordPress Kolhapur community. I applied to be a speaker for WordCamp Kolhapur 2025 in September 2024, and I’m excited to announce that I have been selected! I will be speaking on “Automation for WordPress,” with the topic “From Websites to Workflows: Automating Business with WordPress and Beyond.” The event will take place on January 11th and 12th, 2024, at D.Y. I have also been in contact with Makarand Mane, the organizer of the event. On December 28th, I spoke at a monthly meetup for the WordPress Kolhapur community about “How to Deliver WordPress Websites to Clients: Impress with a Streamlined Process.” If you are in Western Maharashtra, don’t forget to join the WordPress Kolhapur meetup group, as they have monthly meetings scheduled.
